Our Story
Cassine by KO was born from a journey of heritage, memory, and reinvention. Growing up in Mauritius, Kelly Oozageer was surrounded by the vibrancy of island life — the colors, the rhythms, the craft traditions passed down through generations. When moving to London to pursue fashion, those roots remained a constant source of strength and inspiration.
The name Cassine comes from the cassine tree, a symbol of endurance and renewal, much like the brand itself. Cassine embodies the idea of carrying one’s past into the present, transforming cultural fragments into something new, meaningful, and lasting.
With each collection, Cassine by KO seeks to bridge cultures — weaving together Mauritian heritage, British influences, and global perspectives. Our work embraces sustainability and fluidity, creating pieces that resist fast-fashion cycles and instead tell stories that can be worn, shared, and remembered.
